Materials:

Hook 4 MM

Stitch marker

Scissors 

Grey or other ‘can colored’ yarn



Stitches: 

MC: Magic Circle

Sc: Single Crochet

Inc: Increase- Two single crochet in the same stitch

Slst: Slip Stitch

Ch: Chain

BLO: Back loop only

FLO- Front loop only

FO: Finish Off- I chain two and pull through to create a knot then weave in the end.

Rnd 2. Inc every stitch [12]

Rnd 3. *Inc, Sc* x 6. [18]

Rnd 4. *Inc, Sc 2* x 6 [24]

Rnd 5. *Inc, Sc 3* x6 [30]

Rnd 6. Slst, ch 1 In BLO - Sc every stitch around, slst to first sc of round [30]

Rnd 7. Ch1, Sc around, slst to first sc of round [30]

Rnd 8. Ch 1 Sc around, slst to first sc of round [30]

Handle for Lid

In Rows:

Leave a long starting tail as this will be used to sew the handle to the lid

Rnd 1.  Ch 6, in second ch from hook, sc 5, ch 1 and turn [5]

Rnd 2. Sc across, ch 1 and turn [5]

Rnd 3. In BLO- sc across, ch 1 and turn [5]

Rnd 4-9. Sc across ch 1 and turn [5]

Rnd 10.  In FLO- Sc across, ch 1 and turn [5]

Rnd 11. Sc across [5]

FO and sew to top of lid, in the remaining front loops of round 5. Making each end across from each other- like a top handle
