Squid Keychain

Materials:
3.5 mm hook
Yarn [Lion Brand’s Mandala Ombre] about 20 yards
Stuffing
6mm safety eyes
Optional: Keychain

Intermediate Level 
Round count will be in [] at the end of each row
Repeat stitches in ** for x time


Stitches and Abbreviations:

MC- Magic circle
Sc- Single Crochet
Inc- Increase- two single crochet in one stitch
FLO- Front loop only
BLO- Back loop only
Dc- Double crochet
Ch- Chain
SlSt- Slip Stitch
Dec- Decrease- single crochet two stitches together
FO- Finish off



Squid:

1. MC, Sc 6 [6]
2. *Inc, 2 Sc* x2 [8]
3. *Inc, 3 Sc* x2 [10]
4. Sc each stitch around [10]
5. *Inc, 4 Sc* x2 [12]

6-10. Sc each stitch around [12]

Stuff head a small bit then attach eyes between round 7 and 8, 4 stitches apart.

The next row we will make his tentacles. 

11. In FLO: *Sc, Ch 11, in 2nd ch from hook: 10 Sc back up the chain, Sc* x6  [72]

12. In the BLO of round 10: *Dec, ch 18 in 3rd ch from hook: 2 Dc, 14 sc, returning to round 10- 2 Dec* x2 [38]

Fo and sew up the bottom. 


And that's the squid! I think he is perfect if you attach a keychain to his head.
