Materials:
3.5 hook
Two colors worsted weight yarn
I used a light pink for the body, and more neon pink for gills and frills
Stitch marker
Scissors
Stuffing
Safety eyes

Inc- Increase
Dec- Decrease
FO- Finish off

Arm/ Leg Nubs [make 4]:
In main color:
1. MC, Sc 6 [6]
2-3. SC [6]
FO and leave long tail for sewing



Gills and Frills [make 8]:
In secondary color:
1. MC, Sc 6
2-3. Sc [6]
FO and leave long tail for sewing

Body/ head
In main color:
1. MC, Sc 6 [6]
2. *Inc* x6 [12]
3. *Sc, Inc* x6 [18]
4. *Sc 2, Inc* x6 [24]

Add Eyes, Between rows 4 and 5, about 11 stitches apart. Note- this is going to look different then most plush eyes. You are, in a way, adding them to the ‘top’ of the head due to the axolotl’s more… horizontal shape.
This is also where I’d begin stuffing as you go.
